Please carefully review the following terms and conditions before availing Our Service.

  • Carstronaut reserves the right to substitute vehicles when the reserved car types are not available.
  • Please note that the minimum rental period is 3 days.

1. Driving License

Your valid driving license, printed in either the Latin or Cyrillic alphabet, is acceptable in Georgia, provided that it has been held for at least one year.

Age Restriction:

To rent a car, you must be at least 23 years old and have held a driving license for a minimum of 1 year.

2. Booking rules and methods

We offer three convenient ways to make reservations:

  • Online Booking
  • Email Booking
  • Phone Booking

Online reservation:

Visit our front page and check for available options based on your desired date and location.

  • Email reservation: Simply send your booking request to info@carstronaut.com, and our team will promptly contact you to finalize the reservation.
  • Phone bookings: Call our 24/7 service hotline at (+995) 510 00 30 10 and book the car of your choice within a minute.

3. Editing the booking

You can change or edit your booking up to 48 hours before the agreed rental date, free of any charges or fees. Contact us via email or phone for booking modifications.

4. Canceling the Booking Car

Renters can cancel their bookings up to 48 hours before the rental start time without incurring any additional fees. Any payment made for the rental will be fully refunded, except for any applicable bank fees. Please note that the refund process may take up to 2 weeks.

5. Payment Terms and Methods

Full payment for the rental must be settled on the first day of the rental period. We offer the following payment methods:

  • Payment online through the payment system available on our website
  • Payment on the spot by cash or non-cash payment

6. Rental Prices Include:     

  • All taxes
  • Full Insurance
  • Insurance coverage for any number of drivers
  • Unlimited mileage

7. Insurance

Our comprehensive insurance covers the following:

  • 100% Vehicle Insurance in case of any accident, whether caused by you or another party.
  • 100% Vehicle Insurance in case of damage due to fire, theft, or any other damage caused by a third party.
  • 100% Third-Party Insurance (TPL) with a limit of $50,000 for damages caused to third parties, irrespective of fault.
  • 100% coverage for all accessories (mirrors, glasses etc.)

*Please note that any tire damage during off-road driving is not considered accidental by insurance companies in Georgia.

The cost for off-road tire damage may vary, but is approximately 100 EUR. Additionally, a fee of 100 EUR will be charged for losing vehicle keys.

Insurance does not cover any damage or loss to the driver, passengers, or any property inside the vehicle during an accident or rental period, and such expenses are non-refundable by any party.

8. Rules Regarding Timing & Late Return

The Car Renter must return the Car in a timely manner as negotiated. If there is any possibility of a late return, please contact our team immediately to arrange a new return time.

9. Pick up and Drop off service

For our customers, pick up and drop off services in the territory of Tbilisi and Kutaisi are free. Other options are discussed below:

  • Pick up at Tbilisi International Airport  €20
  • Drop off at Tbilisi International Airport  €20
  • Pick up at Kutaisi International Airport  €20
  • Drop off at Kutaisi International Airport  €20

* If you rent a car for more than a week, pick up and drop off services are free for the options listed above.       

  • Pick up at Tbilisi International Airport and drop off at Kutaisi international Airport, or vice versa, 80  €

10. Travelling abroad

For those who want to visit the neighboring countries of Georgia by our car, we can make a power of attorney. The cost of this service is €80.
